Tom Sietsema is a food correspondent for The Washington Sun and the author of the online newsletter "Next Course." He was previously the food critic of The Washington Post, and in 2015 he received a journalism award from the James Beard Foundation for a year-long survey of the top 10 food cities. At The Cookout Menus, Tom brings that same critic's eye to one of the South's favorite fast-food chains. Prices are checked against Cook Out's own online ordering and in-store menu boards, calories come from Cook Out's official nutrition guide, and when a store doesn't list an item, the site says so instead of guessing.
